The cushion cut diamond is an antique style of cut reminiscent of the late 19th and early 20th century diamond shapes. This type of diamond features large open facets and a rectangular or square shape with round corners. Quality cushion cut diamonds used to be available only on estate markets but newfound appreciation has sparked a demand which is why they are now being offered by select shops.
